I've just added a few extra spells to my dungeon generator. They can turn up on scrolls or other items, and the creatures of the dungeon might know them as well. They're adapted, with permission, from Matthew Finch's D&D supplement 'Eldritch Weirdness.'
As always, all feedback is welcome.

They're adapted, with permission, from Matthew Finch's D&D supplement 'Eldritch Weirdness.' As always, all feedback is welcome. Apeloverage, I've been looking at the latest version of the generator, and you've made some fantastic additions there! It absolutely rocks! I did find some minor issues: Being really pedantic , is bar the correct word? I'd have thought that piece or stick would be better. Is this a magic sword, or a normal one? The type of sword - broadsword, epee, gladius, etc. - would be a useful addition here (similarly for other types of weapon). This spell was not listed in the 'Magic of Odand' section. I noticed this in several dungeons. Are there corresponding weapons touched by Law? If not, should they be added? Perhaps all 1s count as 2s and all 6s count as 5s in the HPT (but 6s still count as 6s for Spite)? What happens, if anything, when a Law weapon and a Chaos weapon meet? Is this a permanent WIZ loss, or temporary? I'd assume temporary, but you never know... ;D Listing the type of armour would be helpful here, as there are a lot of situations where it matters if your armour is metal or not. Likewise for shields and individual pieces of armour. Assuming an average number of charges (11), and using 1 charge to find out what the Eye does, a healthy, uninjured 4th level character will be able to gain *40* points of CON from this. I suggest that this is a little bit too powerful... Since this section is about recovering stat loses in general, it might be better to change the heading to Recovering Lost Attribute Points or similar. It might be worth adding a reference here to the Healing / Recovering Lost Attribute Points section after this. Can I also suggest that 'Level n' should be in a larger, bolder size? At present it's the same size as standard text. Some sort of separator between room descriptions to break them up would also be useful. Something like: ~+---+~ is all that I'm suggesting. Centring both of these would also make them stand out. But these are mostly minor nit-picks. It's a marvellous piece of work! Now, where did I put that Exalt button...?

Thanks mahrundl, that was really good feedback, I've exalted you. I've changed most of the things you mentioned (I'll do the armour when I get time). With the swords, I didn't want to pin it down because of differences between editions. People should just use whichever one in the official equipment list for their edition is closest. The different names for swords aren't as clear-cut and distinct as role-playing games make them seem anyway.
By the way I've noticed there's a problem with creatures getting spells that they don't have the STR or WIZ to cast, which I'll deal with as soon as I can.

Thanks mahrundl, that was really good feedback, I've exalted you. I'm glad it was useful. The Exalt was unnecessary, but is appreciated. Yep, I realise that the sword names don't necessarily reflect the real world well. As always, these are just things that occurred to me when I was looking at the generated dungeon. Including the weapon types was just an idea of something that might add to the flavour. I hadn't looked quite *that* closely at the output! I should probably pick up a copy of 'Eldritch Weirdness' too. Matt Finch does good work.

Armour is now listed as metal or non-metal (with the chance of being metal based on protection given, and type of item).

Creatures now only know spells whose cost is less than their STR or WIZ, whichever is being used to fuel spells.

Here's something which might be fun to add. Provide attribute modifiers for creatures wielding weapons/ wearing armor. That'll give PCs an opportunity to replenish their ranks in the middle of the adventure. Darn PCs are always dying at inconvenient moments.

I'm not sure what you mean - the statted creatures already have combat adds listed.

Love the random generator! However I find the random creatures a bit too weird to actually use. If you have the time, please consider adding an option for standard monsters!

I'm not sure what you mean - the statted creatures already have combat adds listed. Come up with attribute modifiers so players can choose to create characters. I see a lot of opportunity to recruit new characters from within a dungeon. Imagine a seasoned team with an even odder assortment of members than most the "traditional" (i.e. Tolkein) gaming worlds.

I've just added in a section, headed "Using Dungeon Species In Other Adventures".
