I am quite new down here, so maybe it has already been discussed. I have found a page on Drivethru that basically says that T&T products are to be expected as PDFs. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=256_311Does anybody knows what is intended? There are a few solos I would love and the MSPE rules as well (though I don't expect that too much).

For a period of time, Pisces All Media was provideing pdf-based T&T products. I bought one, but when I went to purchase another, they had stopped.
Perhaps that is what they were referring to?
Regards,
Scott

I think it would make sense. I hope they'll do it. I have bought a lot of games or supplements that way. Even of games I already own. It is always nice to have the rules on your hard drive.

The PAM module was a reprint and extensively revised Captif d'Yvoire. It was available only in eBook as far as I know. Although the adventure is of good quality, I would have preferred to have seen it in print. 1. Nearly impossible to take an eBook solo into bed (or other places where one might sit down...), let alone sneak it into work. 2. Turning the eBook into a hardcopy was rather expensive. 3. It ain't html, so you are "paging" though a book looking for paragraphs by scrolling up and down because *FIND* picks up more than where you want to end up. Worth picking up? If you enjoyed the original, then a resounding yes! If you didn't, or haven't played it, then consider carefully all the hidden costs to obtain an eBook -- outright cost to buy access rights to the download; print costs; inaccessibility; you will also need the current Adobe software, plus all the requisite eBook software; license is tied to a single computer, so you'll need portable storage if you want portability. As for FBI stuff on DTRPG - last I heard Rick was simply not interested. That's a shame, because there is a ton of old stuff out there that he could put up and make money from. They will even do the PDF conversions. IMHO - another business decision from FBI that leaves me scratching my head...

IMHO - another business decision from FBI that leaves me scratching my head... And i was just going to post that i thought FBI testing the PDF idea was a wonderful step in the right direction. Guess not. Too bad. There are meny benifits of having stuff out on pdf at places like drive-through. TLG but out thier PH in PDF. It sells for less than a hard copy, and you dont get the hard-copy feeling, but it's perfect for people who want to see what the game's about before purchasing it in book format. Adventures could be put out in this format as well. Game aids, settings, you name it. I truely love this game, but sometimes i wonder. It great that the game has a strong core following, but without some new-blood, the game will stagnate. I can only buy so meny old products until i run out of things to buy. I've got 7E, 5.5 and the summer special with the solos, and would like to pick up Lejentia (after following someone's link to a Yahoo group this morning). But then what? If hard copies requier too much, PDFs seem like a great alternative. No?

And in my case, it is even not a question of choice between a paper and a pdf copy. For the games I love (like Flashing Blades from FGU for exemple..), I want both: the book to manipulate, and the pdf on my laptop for quick reference. At the price of most pdf supplements, I suppose I couldn't resist buying them all.

Well, i got into the habit of buying PDF when Pinnacle wasn't producing Savage World stuff fast enough for my voracious appitite. To tide us poor savages over till books would be released, they had a bunch of adventures/setting available at one of the PDF vendors. It managed to keep the costemer "into" the game and hold his/her interst in the game.

I am of the opinion that Pisces All Media are not doing T&T adventures any longer.

I know that I have re-purchased some game books in PDF format that I already have in book format. For me, it's a matter of eyesight. Some RPG books have small font or strange colors on colored background and are hard to read, but if I can copy from the PDF onto a Word doc I can read it much better.
