www.kalimedia.com/Atlas_of_True_Names.htmlThis is an atlas, which replaces place-names with their meaning in English (there's also a version in German). With places that are named after someone, they replace the name with its meaning. So just about everything sounds like a fantasy location. For example Scotland has a city called "Mouth of the Goddess", and a cape called "Cape by the Dark Warrior's Village". I'm not sure how scholarly it is (it seems to have exactly one name for everything, and I know there are a lot of places where the origin of the name is disputed or unknown), but it looks fun.
