I have had three articles accepted for "The Hobbit Hole" and was invited to submit future articles for possible submission.
I have some ideas of what I would like to write and some ideas about what might be useful and I thought I would bounce them off the group and see what everyone thinks of them.
Anyway let me know what you think.
1. Rocketry in T&T: Ballistics a little more random
2. Horses and their Kin in T&T: Horsemanship a little less Chivalric
3. Horse Armor: Barding is a horses best friend
4. Diseases & Ailments in T&T: From a little discomfort to a lot of death
5. Concealed Weapons in T&T: A little surprise goes a long way
6. Chariots in T&T: Ride into battle in style
7. Riding Beasts: When a horse is not enough
8. Siege Weapons: For when uninvited guests come knocking
9. Sapping and Siege engineering: How to undermine your enemies
10. Arrows: Archery more to the point
11. Zombies: A little less ordinary
12. Poisons: A little more deadly, A lot more Variety
13. Weird Weapons: For when a Broadsword is not enough
14. Surgery & Stitches doctoring in T&T: Healing a little less magical
15. Weapons and Monsters: Pick a culture
16. Privateers, Buccaneers & Corsairs: Pirates around the world
17. Monsters a little more Monstrous: Monsters by theme
18. Sieges: Ideas and Advice on running a campaign in a city at war
19. Bludgeons and Flagons: A Monsters! Monsters! Adventure
20. Finders Keep: The city of the Dragon, various articles if the adventure goes over well
21. Incendiary Weapons: Light up your campaign

All sound very interesting, just a couple of comments: Have you ever seen the old Warhammer Chaos Dwarf Rockets for Fantasy Battle? Very deadly and very interesting.
Riding beasts sound very interesting, I have a couple that I might introduce in the future myself, unless you handle them already.
What about secret societies and organizations? Always good to try to join or to have to flee from.

Yeah I'm a big fan of the old Warhammer world, the new one leaves me cold though I'm afraid. The chaos dwarf bazooka is the kind of random dangerous fun that is at the heart of T&T.
Unusual riding beasts is going to be a follow up to the horse and kin article. I was thinking it would hit on the major non-standard fantasy steeds, Unicorns, Gryphons, Pegasus, Land Dragons and some of my personal favorites. Like Rhino's, Elephants, The riding beasts from Lawrence Watt-Evans "Lords of Dus" books ( with the serial numbers filed off ) or the riding spiders from Jack Vance's "The Dragon Masters", riding bulls and Wyverns.
Secret societies will probably show up if I get any interest in my "Finders Keep" articles.
I'm already working on the "Diseases & Ailments in T&T: From a little discomfort to a lot of death" doing a little research and doing some research on "Rocketry in T&T: Ballistics a little more random".
Hopefully Fire-Arrows and the “Bloody Flux” ( A.K.A. Dysentery ) will make for good gaming.

T-K-D, I have some siege weapons detailed if you want to use them. I wrote them up for 7th edition, but Ken decided that he didn't want to include siege weapons in the main rules. There are about a dozen weapons in the list, plus a glossary.
Let me know if you want to see them.

Those battlecats in the Watt-Evans books are very neat, and that series is spiffy.
The old Bard Games/Atlantean System had the Dwarves of Punt who rode ostriches which was a neat concept, and I like the ancient flightless bird/axebeak concept as a mount (remember Joust?), which would be a neat idea for pulling chariots about.

Rocketry?!? Crazy. Congrats on the HH articles, T-D-K! I look forward to reading them. Looking over your list here, I really don't know what to choose. They all sound cool. Some more than others, but only slightly. Therefore, I'd recommend choosing something that really hasn't been covered before or too much in published material or forum threads. I dunno. Diseases? Riding Beasts? Of course, I'm a sucker for undead, so I'd like to see the 'zombie' article. The 'Monsters a little more monstrous' sounds fun too. Guess you'll have to do 'em all, huh?

Sure I would love to see them, nothing helps with design more than to have something to riff off. ;D Hellbender, you know I had not though of flightless riding birds, but now that you mention it that would be really cool. Machfront, yeah early rocketry is a bit crazy. Wait till you get a look at the "Beehive" rocket launcher from ancient asia. Kind of like a modern LAW rocket, except it fired 50+ rocket arrows in a neat man-portable package. Oh and Machfront thanks for saying you'd want to see an article on diseases. Sometimes I think I'm the only one whose interested nasty gritty bits. Besides who hasn't wanted to give some obnoxious players character Gonorrhea at some point! ;D

Excellent! I will peruse your siege weapon goodness. Strangely I had not thought of battering rams, which makes me feel a little silly. ;D Rocketry and Illnesses are on the plate now, riding animals and barding are probably next. Oh! I just thought I can do barding for war dogs as well, that should be fun. Hmm, so hopefully you'll be able to have your knight mounted on a plate armored rhino leading a charge against a rocket position while suffering from scurvy!

Awesome list T-K-D! Personally, I like them all. There is so much to read. It would be fun to see a twist to Healing Feeling. Perhaps diseases can have a WIZ rating, a minimum casting level (i.e. must be cast at L8 or twice), or similar mechanism. Something to resist that darn spell from just wiping out the story line in one blow. RuneQuest's disease system was little fun in the early days. "I've got a STR-disease" is much less disgusting than "I've got Water-Muscles causing fatigue, cramps, bloating, and diarrhea." The old Bard Games/Atlantean System had the Dwarves of Punt who rode ostriches which was a neat concept, and I like the ancient flightless bird/axebeak concept as a mount (remember Joust?), which would be a neat idea for pulling chariots about. Awesome to find someone else aware of the old Atlantean System. I have the 3 core books (Atlantis, Bestiary, and Arcanum). These books have been a great source of material for my T&T games. Atlantis is the best world book ever.

Atlantis is the best world book ever. I almost cried when I saw what Morrigan Press had done to the game, I think that the Atlantean System was the tightest of the old fantasy rpgs that included a reasonable set of skills, a magic system that wasn't Vancian and a large list of professions. The bestiary was awesome and showed a great variety of creatures with a plethora of examples. I really would like to see someone take over the original rules set and re-release the older version.

I want to be accurate, but whenever I get going it starts to read like a medical text book. So I'm trying to find some kind of kind of happy medium.
