Got to admit I already downloaded what was on drive thru rpg. I was thinking of something for us new trolls would be a solid way to start. Where would you recomend a post about solos their level and add requirements to go.

In the interest of time - breakfast is getting cold - I'm going to toss you a link to a post earlier in this thread. It should have the resources you're looking for. If not, just clarify the details and let us know. trollbridge.proboards.com/post/56676/thread

I recommend Dungeon of the Rat as the first GM adventure and Sword for Hire as the first solo adventure. Both are great. Buffalo Castle is suitable for a level one adventurer and was the first ever solo RPG. It is a bit dated but conveys the early style of roleplaying very well.

Just registered and figured this should be the first stop!
I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. Growing up I played a few games of D&D and Traveler but but nothing consistent. I mostly grew up on the solo role playing game books like Lone Wolf, Fighting Fantasy etc.
I had heard of Tunnels and Trolls in the past but assumed it was like most other Pen and Paper RPGs in that you had to have a group. Only recently did I discover that it had so much solo content.
I bought a copy of Deluxe T&T and a handful of the solo adventures. I read the rules and thought I was all set to play. I sat down with Buffalo Castle Deluxe and before I even began was confused as what to do.
I jumped on Reddit to get some help. Unfortunately its T&T thread is basically dead, but things seem to be quite lively here! Hopefully I can find the appropriate thread for my questions and once I learn the ropes, contribute what i can to the community.

Welcome, SilenceTheFallen! While the frequency of posts is less than it has been in earlier times, I think that you will generally get good and (reasonably) timely responses to any questions that you might have. There is a wealth of information in historical threads too. So ask away, and browse the archives too! Also check out Trollszine, it's free you know! <in before zanshin!> There are some wonderful articles, adventures, and ideas in every issue!

Welcome SilencetheFallen. Please feel free to start a new thread or necro any that will help answer your questions. t&T is a bit more complex than Fighting Fantasy, but not enormously so. I also enjoyed Lone Wolf books. Good times. I hope you enjoy your time here and we are glad to have you. Also, listen to mahrundl about Trollszine, he is very wise.

Ugh! (Trollish for "hello")
If you have a smart phone you might want to check out the T&T Adventures app by MetaArcade. It has a good number of solo adventures, including Buffalo Castle, available for download and play. They'll help you see how the system hangs together in play. The two rules sets are similar, though there are differences, but most of the main concepts are there.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
I'll absolutely check out Trollszine. It sounds great.
Piper, I looked for the T&T adventures in the Google Play store. Like you suggested, I was hoping it might be able to answer some of my questions, but the only thing that comes up for MetaArcade is Cthulhu Chronicles. Maybe its only in the Apple Store and not on Android just yet? No big deal though, I don't usually play games on my phone. I understand the convenience, but prefer hard copies for games like this.
Thanks again everybody.

Sure enough. There it is.
Thats strange. I wonder why it won't pull up in the Play store on my phone. My phone exceeds the requirements to run the game.
Not a big deal though. As I said above I don't really play games or install excess stuff on my phone and the good folk here answered the questions I had in another thread.
Thanks for pointing that out though.

Hullo all, Trolled here. Just joined up. I hail from North Carolina now living in Virginia. Started D&D around ‘77 or so. Played up until end of college. Just got back into things after my teen son found my old stuff and wanted to learn how to play. I knew about T&T but it never grabbed my attention as it didn’t have the name recognition and star-power as D&D. Not to long ago I decided to see what T&T was all about and it just spoke to me. Now I’m on a T&T kick. Guess I’ll ride this till I’m broke.
