Hello Rasha!
As trolletgunnar already said, Trollzine is a great resource. You can download all of the issues for free on drivethrurpg. As for physical stuff, you can get books from flying buffalo. It's come under new management though, so I'm not sure what's all in stock at this time.

Welcome rashathetimid: Let me add another vote of support for the Trollszine--and add one other note: Part by design, much by just how it became: the Trollbridge is one of the friendliest, most welcoming places in the RPG space. Coming into T&T the way you did (finding an edition that's the bridge between what many consider "classic" and the most recent and doing so without an established) can be a little intimidating and confusing--so any questions you have, just ask.

Welcome rashathetimid , That 7.5 Box Set had an awful lot of material in it what with Monster Manuals and everything else. I cannot but give a hearty pat on the back to trolletgunnar and others who have recommended Trollszine. All 13 editions available free from DriveThru and full of everything a T&T newbie could want including Solo and GM adventures and just about anything else the great and the good of the Trollbridge can come up with

Welcome, rashathetimid! I see that many people have already suggested TrollsZine, which surprises me not at all because it's an excellent resource. There are a number of good 7.5 modules available at Tavernmaster Games. And there are a number of threads here at the TrollBridge discussing 7.5, and they often have links to other sites with interesting things on them. There's not as much available for 7th / 7.5 edition as for 5th and for Deluxe, but a lot of the Deluxe material could be used with relatively small changes needed. 5th edition material would need more conversion, but is still very compatible. Any questions, just ask! Someone - probably several someones, in fact - will almost certainly jump in to answer.

I never introduced myself properly in this Topic. I'm Punkrabbitt Hi y'all. Considering you could make the case that T&T is the houseruled game, "properly" is gloriously broad. Welcome punkrabbitt (excellent name, if I may say so...)

Greetings! First of all I apologize for my writting, english is not my native language. I'm new to Tunnels & Trolls and I'm looking for informations and gaming aids for this RPG. I found a box of the 7.5 edition in a gaming store and wasn't aware of what I was about to bought. The fact to have a complete rules set with adventures, "70+ new monsters", tokens, dice, and a world map for a low price triggered my curiosity. After some reading I bought the first edition on Drivethru too. I was looking for some new materials and found the fanzines (I like RPG fanzines) that were mentionned in the 7.5 edition on Amazon and Lulu. But after more readings on the web I understand these fanzines are not auhtorized. So could you please tell me what authorized fanzines, magazines or gamebook are available on the subject ? Welcome Rashathetimid. Well, yer English is near better than mine and it is my native language... Still, a little help... 'what I was about to buy.'The rest is 99% perfect! Feel free to ask questions, this is the introduction forum, but other posts might help you with other questions you need answered!

A very warm welcome to rashathetimid, punkrabbitt, and anyone else who joined recently. Just to echo what everyone else has said really, help is always available and there are loads of free or reasonably priced resources out there. Each version of the game offers something different but the core rules are very similar and if there's something you don't like you can always change a rule to suit yourself. I hope you enjoy your time here.

Aramis, aka Wil, aka AK_Aramis. I got into RPG's in 81, having been doing board wargames since 79, tho' my first exposure to D&D was in 80. Started with AD&D. I got into Traveller in fall of 83, having stopped off in Star Frontiers for a few weeks first. In 84, I got introduced to The Fantasy Trip. In 85, I was introduced to Champions and T&T by a couple different folk. I really got into T&T in about 88, in college. But only for solo play. I picked up the Corgi edition, and several solos. In the mid 90's, I started using it with players. It rawked, but my players were flaky due to work schedules. ANd a few just didn't get that you have to do Stupid Player Tricks to make life work as a fighter... My site has changed locations over the years, now residing at aramis.hostman.us ... my old T&T 5 houserules (dating to about 1996) are still up there. I've playtested a bunch of stuff over the years for other systems, including T20 Traveller's Handbook, EABA, Mongoose Traveller, Babylon 5 Wars, and WFRP 2E (tho' I wasn't credited in that one). Looking at your website, Aramis of Erak: (been doing a mass T&T perusal). Do I need to tweak browser settings for the Javascript opening (left-frame/menu)? Thanks!

HTML5 broke it. It was written for HTML 4.0. I need to simply replace that file.
I just swapped in a fully opened version. It's an ugly hack, but it probably works. (testing it, you may need to reload the frame via right-click)
Oh, and thanks for kicking me into gear.
