Ho hum.
I wonder if RPG Now charge for free pdf's? As that would be another route for distribution.

Ya know, I'd like to think that Rick actually asked Lulu to do this, but I really doubt it. After so recently giving his blessing for various works, why would he? Wouldn't he have said to those people to hold off for the moment or some such? I hope that that's the reason, but have my doubts too. (Wonder if Flying Buffalo is a part of the GAMA - wouldn't this be right up their alley?). I assume hairy feet behind this. Yes, FB Inc is part of GAMA... and Rick is past president, having held several terms.

I understand from Mahrrk on Trollhalla that RPG Now do not charge for free to download material. Does anyone have an account with them and would be prepared to 'host' Trollzine once we have it good to go?

I'm currently in the process of setting up an account and would be happy to host the Trollzine. I'm not entirely sure how long the whole process takes.

That's great danhem!!! I tried to figure out starting an account there, couldn't get my brain wrapped around it. There's also Flying Buffalo's page there...

Once we get the zine done (and we are close, just need Quogmyre to confirm when he is ready to start layout, and get a couple of promised articles) I would be happy to ask Rick, but if Danhem is good to go he offered first and i think we should respect that.

My feelings would not be hurt one way or the other. Of course there is nothing to prevent offering the Trollzine in multiple locations. The more the better.

Using the FBI RPGNOW account may not be the right thing to do initially as it's purely fan-built and free.

Happy to use Trollzine to promote T&T, and the contributors, in any way possible. Happy to be guided by the Trollbridge consensus.

Alright, I see on Trollhalla that apparently Rick had nothing to do with this "litigation" and is not aware of any ongoing lawsuit, etc. He'll be talking to the folks at Lulu about this apparently. I hope this works out. Hopefully they'll listen to the man that actually owns the trademark!
So, just as I initially suspected, that sewer-hobbit is behind this recent crap.

<SIGH> really at what point does he devolve into throwing feces at the other content producers. Make sure all those who have had content yanked get in contact with both LULU and FBI so they are restored and someone need to point out to Lulu that this is the second time such action has been taken against innocent T&T modules I think they need to red flag the complaint line against T&T and verify before yanking anything that is NOT outlaw-press or "that guy". Not sure how that can happen short of getting Rick to say hey when in doubt call me.

So, just as I initially suspected, that sewer-hobbit is behind this recent crap. Kind of who I figured was behind it, about the time Tori B. had his stuff yanked off Lulu after daring to assert his ownership over what he'd worked on for OP.
