A 2010 "that company" edition of T&T 6e is still available from Barnes & Noble too, which is where I got it before I knew about the IP issues and other dickery. Considering the foregoing, is it any wonder there's no cover art? I found this edition was a good intro to the game, as I mentioned in the review I posted on B&N. Is it correct that members of this forum contributed to the text?

I think it's a pity the stigma now somewhat attached to M6E, but I think it's great. And, yes, our very own Hogscape is the loon responsible.

Oy. Trademarks aren't registered with the Library of Congress. Trademarks are registered with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. (This is what I do for a living ...) That said, I went to the PTO site and checked out Tunnels & Trolls for trademarks and discovered an abandoned application by Flying Buffalo back in 1980, and a registration by New World Computing that was cancelled in 1998. So there is not currently a trademark registration for T&T, that's true. (FBI or FD or Ken or somebody ought to register it again. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know, but trademarks do not have to be registered to be valid and, indeed, may still be protected under the Laham Act (registration does, however, make a trademark easier to defend).

I know what i say next might not be exactly popular and just to be clear i mean no disrespect to anyone has contributed to this thread in the defence of the rights of Rick and Ken and, has kept us up to date with the underhanded deeds of James but, can we please bury this thread?
Negative thought serves us no positive purpose and as much as i agree that James should be held to account for his actions and, that buying any tainted produce only adds to the problem by condoning his actions in passing i dont think that anything more can be said that hasn't already been said in 30 pages.
For me, everytime i see this thread resurface it's a bit depressing to be honest. Maybe i'm just being over emotional on the whole matter but as an artist i understand the pain of the people he hurt with his theft, i understand that his betrayal is a bitter pill to swallow and quite simply, i dont want to think of this wretch ever again. For these reasons i move for the motion that we please stop discussing the matter. It only makes us angry and annoyed and why would we do that to ourselves?

Locked maybe, buried I disagree, I think this needs to be here as a reminder:
1. Intellectual property is taken very seriously by our T&T community.
2. We will not turn a blind eye to the wrongs done by any member of our community, regardless of the "Good" they are doing.
3. That the ownership and copyright of T&T is an unknowable mess, with some saying its open and free, others claiming ownership. We here at the Trollbridge respect Ken, Rick and all contributor rights, regardless of legal status.

I somewhat agree with this point, cartomancer. I think that it's worth mentioning if new deeds come to light, but rehashing that which has gone before is not that useful.
Thread has been locked. If anyone objects to this, please PM me.
