I was very excited to find Trollbridge, Trollhalla, and "that company". I was sure that all that was left of T&T was a few tattered copies of 5e and some solos mouldering away in Rick's basement. Now I discover there is a small, but fiercely loyal T&T fan community. I agree with Vin, what ever it takes to get the old girl some of the attention she deserves. At least we all have each other. ........I love you guys. *cries* *passes out*

Well, Vin has a point. The main reason we all talk about this is we want T&T to be more known, loved and supported. It's probably more a question about visibility than anything else. I mean, like Vin says, there are two editions of T&T for sale and generating at least some revenue. Adding a clone might not be what we want.

I would point out that for many many years there was no version of T&T available for purchase. While FBI advertised it they were out of print and delivery was TBA. When FD sold out of the first print run of 7 there was a huge question as to if there would be a reprint. I don't for a minute believe that T&T is guaranteed beyond what is currently in stock.

Even more reason for me to keep collecting multiple copies of everything!

The quicker we buy, the more likely they are to reprint! ;D Of course, if we quickly buy everything up, no-one else can buy it and the game won't spread...

Of course nobody can say what happens when the print run is sold out. If it seem to go OOP again and nothing moves, then let's start the cloning...

hmmm... Call it "Trollbridge"? It's hard for my brain to get past the alliterative ampersand phenomenon. Bummer. Borkaws & Bashters...nah (just making up words now) Misericorde? sounds *snappy*!
I really like how Burke and Hogscape set up their manuals, with rule presentation and campaign info together. It shows that a statement of the rules doesn't take up a lot of space. (look at Corgi, too - rules and 2 solos!). I've been thinking about printing small booklets of solo adventure to put in the 'free rack' at a local book store and game shop - total pipe dream, but maybe some weirdo would like it. Would be nice to give some primitive rules...

Yeah, you're right. I've got all the Corgi versions of the solos too. Everyone of them nice compact rules in the front and up to 2 solos. Very handy. In theory it was a great idea, before the gamebook decline. FBI also included the abridged rules in Sea of Mystery too!

JJB, I have this image of you living in a small cupboard under the stairs because every room and available surface in your house is taken up with the gargantuan T&T collection. Ahhh, the dream home...

Ahhh, the dream home... LOL That WOULD be a dream home. If I had the money, I'm sure I'd have 3 or 4 copies of everything. 1 to use, 1 laminated, 1 framed, and 1 backup! Multiplied by the different prints of each (such as different cover City of Terror). Then, I'd have to have room(s) to display them in, and a room to play them. Move over Harry Potter, that room is now mine!

True, and since Ken's creative direction is more in line with 7E nowadays, us 5E guys may really be out of luck. Future printings are (I assume) more likely to be the newer version. In some ways, T&T has become as messed up as D&D. D&D started out as one game, then became fragmented into the OD&D guys versus the AD&D guys. Further fragmenting occured with the introduction of 3E and again with 4E. T&T has this potential as well, with the 5E guys feeling left behind while the 7E guys feel supported. I just can't believe that both 5E and 7E will both get full support in the future.

I wouldn't describe the current situation as "support"... more "failure to actively undermine"...
